So...being the complete novice that I am in the blogging world, it occurred to me the other day that I should maybe be printing off a hard copy of my blog now and then. I do use this as my substitute for scrapbooking and journaling and all the other things I'm totally bad at, so I would really like to make sure it's permanent somewhere. Is this something that responsible "bloggers" do? And if so, HOW? I know that I can just print the screen but it seems like an awful waste of paper since the whole page prints with strange margins etc. and usually my pictures won't print. (Yep- I've tried) Or, is it just completely unnecessary to print your blog. Is saving in cyberspace sufficient?
Again- I'm a novice. Can you tell?
So for anyone out there who happens to follow our little family and has advice and help I would LOVE the input.
Thank you!

I'm glad you asked this. I've been needing to do the same thing myself. I know there are web sites that print blogs into books for super cheap--but I don't know any names. Hopefully someone can help!
I just printed my blog from the last two years on www.blog2print.com. It wasn't cheap (around $50) but it wasn't that bad. That was the easiest site because they just import all your stuff (text and pictures, no video.) I checked out some other self-publishing sites but they seemed more complicated, you have to transfer the material yourself but can make more changes and be more creative.
Cutest Blog on the Block has a link to a place that will publish your blog. I printed all my 2009 blog posts in Jan 2010. It cost me $20 and I was very happy with the product I received! It was a really nice little book! And now that I know that little secret, I no longer have to journal, scrapbook and all that other stuff. Blog on!
